Auctions

My husband and I love to go to auctions to look for furniture. This past summer it seemed that there were a ton of them right around where we live. We along with my father-in-law have picked up quite a few things for really great prices. It is amazing what you can get at an auction and the prices that they go for. Some things for for a lot of money but you can pick up other things dirt cheap. We like the challenge of getting things dirt cheap. My FIL picked up a butcher block island at the latest one we went to for like $40. It is solid and and in really great shape. Anybody else go to auctions to buy furniture?

We bought a house from some people who furnished the whole thing with furniture they bought at an auction. The furniture was gorgeous and they got it at a huge savings.
