Wicker Baskets

Snowbird from the land of cheese -

I saw in a magazine some wicker baskets that came in a variety of sizes. They had drawers in the front of them. You could buy a few of those and stack them and use them for a side table! Get a piece of glass cut for the top. They would look great if you decorate with wicker and be used for storage as well!

We have several fall festivals in the area where I live every year. One of the tents that is set up every year is what we call the basket lady. She has tons and I mean tons of wicker things. Everything from huge wicker baskets to wicker silver ware carriers. I actually bought one that has a small handle at the top (not like an easter basket shape) and it has a flat back and a rounded front. I hung it on the wall in my second living room. I don't have anything in it right now but I have placed fake flowers in it according to the season we are in.

I used to decorate with a lot of wicker. I don't remember what phase of my life I was in, but I had this great table. I wonder if it's still in my parents' basement. I have a three-tiered magazine rack made of wicker right now.
