Feng Shui

My sister's friend is totally into Feng Shui. When she found out she was pregnant she wanted to make sure the furniture in the baby's room was placed accordingly. It works for her but for myself I'm not really into all that stuff.

That's very interesting. Some people are very into the whole Feng Shui thing and I can see how she would want to make sure that even the baby's room would follow that too.

I first heard of Feng Shui when I was watching Trading Spaces and Vern would use the term all the time. Before that I had no idea what it was. Too much involved for me to make sure everything is placed accordingly. I would have to say that it doesn't work for me either. Oh well to each his own.

Hey, I forgot about Vern Yip (sp?). I wonder what he's doing nowadays. I'll have to google him and see what he's up to!! He was one of my favorite designers.

I don't believe in any of that Feng Shui stuff...I hope I don't offend anyone but to me it just sounds like a load of crap.

If it makes that do believe in it feel good... then I don't see any problem. Seems to be a complicated, but harmless way to feel good.

I bought a Feng Shui book about seven years ago. I started reading it and it was just too superstitious for me. It's not my culture so it's not my thing.
