• Laundry Room Marketplacefurniture-workshop - Laundry Room I would love a bigger laundry room!!Cornelia from Furniture World - My sister just had her basement remodeled and had a huge laundry room put in it as well. She has an area where she can fold and hang clothes and she has a ironing board that pops out of the wall cabinet for easy use and storage. She has used this room to put all of her craft items too. Comment #1 Lee from North Pole - I would love a huge laundry room. I would actually love it to be a laundry room slash entry room from the garage as well as a mud room. Does that make sense? Just a place that all the coats, shoes, boots, hats, gloves etc can be stored and put on and taken off and be put on without tracking everything through the house. Plus if it was the laundry room too and they came in from outside and they were dirty just throw it in the washer. In my dream house this room might happen. Comment #2 Eva from Wisteria Lane - My sister in law has a mud room/laundry room. It works out really well for them - it's right off the garage. They have one of those deep sinks in there as well that really is used multipurposely - from soaking clothes to washing the kids' dirty hands from outside. Comment #3 Silly Sally from the middle of nowhere - A deep sink in the laundry room would be nice. We have a kind of mud room off the garage and then the laundry room. I just wish the connections were on the opposite sides. Then the washer and dryer doors would open into each other. Comment #4 Curly from Boonies - I in am in the same boat. Count me in for wanting a bigger laundry room too. A friend of mine and my sister actually their laundry room are in their downstairs bathrooms. So I guess they really don't have laundry rooms at all. In my friends house the bathroom is actually quite small and one of her pregant friends barely fit in there because she has front loading washer and dryer that take up a lot of room. I guess she has the luxury of not walking up and down stairs to do laundry but I think I would rather climb stairs instead of having a crowded bathroom.
