painting is definitely a great way to change the look if you are happy with what you have, but just want a little change. My grandmother painted hers when she redecorated her kitchen and the change from such a simple thing is tremendous!!

Luckily my kitchen cabinets are in great shape (even though my home is over 10 years old). I will put some lemon oil on the cabinets every couple of months to freshen them up.
