The Convenience of Futon Bunk Beds

Futon bunk beds are a recent phenomenon, and have their roots in the natural evolution of futons. In recent years, futons have significantly improved in style, quality and comfort. Futons are an awesome idea. They are so practicle because they can be used as a couch or lounge as well. I had never heard of a futon bunk bed before but now I'm definetly going to look into this.

I have been seriously thinking of getting a futon for my daughters room. She has a small room and one wall is nothing but window the other two walls has a door, so there is not much room for anything else.

She want a larger bed, because the twin is just not large enough and I think a futon would be perfect for her. At night I can pull it out and fold it up during the day!

I used to have a futon bed that also became a couch during daytime... I actually started to really dislike that because at the time, i lived in a bachelor apartment, so my bedroom was also my living room and dining room heh. So people would sit on my "couch" and it just really irriated me. I like my bed to be CLEAN and the only person that can sit on it is ME! ME! ME! Heh.

I always had the impression that futons weren't very comfortable to sleep on or sit on. I have never had one but for some reason I want to say one of my friends had one and really disliked it. They would definitely serve 2 purposes which would be great for someone with a small space or wants to save money. I did think about one at one time for the dogs so they would have someone place of their own to lay down without damaging other furniture. I never bought one though. Maybe I should rethink them especially as the kids get older it would be a great thing to put in a game room.
